Getting to know your Nervous system workshop series

This workshop series will consist of 4 sessions of 90min each. With a group capacity of 4 to 6 people. Total cost $600 ($150 per session). Commencing late April or early May depending on numbers.

With a current Mental Health Care Plan you can claim as part of your 10 Medicare sessions per calendar year.

NDIS funds can also be used (depending on plan)

All sessions cover theoretical and practical content:

  1. Introduction to the nervous system: overview of components and functions, neuroplasticity

  2. The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, understanding your window of tolerance

  3. Nervous system exercises, staying in the optimal zone, coming back from hypoarousal and hyperarousal

  4. Cultivating ongoing mind-body awareness, somatic strategies

Offered both in person and Telehealth.

In person at the Parkville (Melbourne) location. In the evening most likely Monday but potentially could be Friday.

Telehealth will be on Thursday evening.
